Leslie Howitt currently paints in small format with gouache medium. The size of her paintings range from one to eight inches in scale. The small size of these paintings creates an intimate dialogue between the viewer and the painting, drawing the observers physically close into the art pieces.

The images are executed with precision and intricate detail. The content of the work is spiritual in nature drawing from personal and universal symbolism. The paintings are received through visioning, dreamscapes that are channeled through meditation and sleep state.
“I feel working on the paintings assists me on my personal evolution and spiritual growth. I like to think they have healing properties for myself hopefully for the viewer. I believe through creating my art, I can discover and cultivate my true Self”.
Leslie continues on her spiritual journey by participating in the Sacred Center community, practicing Reiki and Yoga, Shamanic studies and Angelic healing.
